Named, and not sold yet

Things a reasonable person might expect that we have not built. We say so out loud rather than let silence imply we have them.

Team seats. Not built. An account is one person today.
New-edit alert emails. Not built. Each quarter's CMS edit refresh changes verdicts, and your saved claims show the quarter they were checked against - but nothing emails you when a new quarter lands: no digest, no webhook. You have to come and look, so do not rely on being told.
Metered API overage. Not built. Each paid plan's included monthly call allowance is a hard ceiling: when it is reached the API returns a rate_limited error rather than billing you for more. Nothing reports usage to Stripe, so we do not charge per call and we will not pretend to.
Full 837 file parsing. Not built. Batch scrubbing takes structured claim lines (JSON); we do not yet parse a raw X12 837 file or a CSV export. Shape your PM system's export into the documented lines format first.
Payer-specific edit sets. Not built. Verdicts are computed against the CMS Medicare NCCI/MUE edits only. Commercial payers run variants of these plus their own rules; a clean Medicare scrub does not guarantee a commercial payer will pay.
Claim submission. Not built. We scrub and explain; we never transmit anything to a payer or clearinghouse.

Billing questions

What does the free plan actually include?

The single-claim scrubber, running entirely in your browser so claim data is never transmitted, every CARC and RARC denial page with cited corrective actions, and a test API key. No card. What free does not do is the recurring job: batch scrubbing, saved claim history, appeal letters, or a production API key at volume.

Why isn't the free scrubber enough for a working biller?

Free genuinely solves one claim, completely and honestly. A biller working claims every week needs the artifact trail: the batch run across many claims at once, the saved verdict and edit quarter for each one, and the appeal letter as a document they can actually send. That recurring job is what Pro is for.

Do I need a paid plan to use the API?

No. Every endpoint works with no key at the anonymous rate, and a test API key is free on every plan, runs the real engine and datasets, and never bills. A production key at your plan's quota is a Pro or Scale feature.

What is the difference between Pro and Scale?

Pro (Batch scrubbing - saved claim history - appeal letters - 1,000 API calls/mo) fits a biller or small practice working denials every week. Scale (Everything in Pro - 10,000 API calls/mo - 2,000 claims per batch) is for billing companies and products built on the API at higher volume.

Do you meter overage past the monthly API allowance?
